This post curing curing device Otoflash G171 ensures by means of intense light flashes, an effective polymerization of light curing resins. The Otoflash has two flash lamps that emit light from below into the polymerization chamber. Use the Otoflash for curing 3D printed models.
Due to the technical configuration of the Otoflash G171, short curing times are possible. The above-mentioned flash lamps produce 10 flashes of light per second which occur at a wavelength of 280-580nm. Due to these intense flashes of light, the materials harden even better compared to other methods (different light spectrum) and with the Otoflash you achieve considerably better curing of the materials. This ensures better physical properties of the materials, less plaque and a reduced residual polymer content on the models.
Optionally, the Otoflash G171 can be equipped with a nitrogen gas connection (N2) which prevents any oxygen inhibition. As a result, the cured objects will not feel sticky and there is no need to remove this reaction layer on the models. This option may be a must when printing dental applications with a biocompatible resin that are medically certified, for example. The connection of the gas bottle to the Otoflash G 171 N2 is optional.
