LHT 01/17 LB Speed – Compact and faster
The LHT 01/17 LB Speed is the more compact version and can accommodate up to 30 single crowns. The furnace chamber measures 75 × 110 × 60 mm and the furnace weighs approximately 45 kg.
An important advantage of the LHT 01/17 LB Speed is its higher heating rate. Up to 1000 °C, this model can achieve a maximum heating rate of 60 °C/min. The fastest cooling to 300 °C also takes approximately 86 minutes, making it faster than the LHT 02/17 LB Speed.
This version is therefore particularly suitable for dental laboratories looking for a compact, high speed sintering furnace and typically working with smaller batches.
LHT 02/17 LB Speed – Maximum Capacity
The LHT 02/17 LB Speed is the larger version and is designed for laboratories with higher production capacity. Thanks to its larger furnace chamber, it can process up to 75 single crowns. Nabertherm states that up to three sintering trays can be placed in the furnace, with a maximum of 25 crowns per level.
The furnace chamber has a diameter of 115 mm and a height of 140 mm. With a weight of approximately 55 kg, the LHT 02/17 LB Speed is larger and heavier than the 01/17.
The maximum heating rate is 20 °C/min up to 1000 °C. The LHT 02/17 LB Speed is therefore slower during heating, but this is offset by its significantly larger loading capacity. The fastest cooling to 300 °C takes approximately 107 minutes.

An important advantage of the LHT ../17 LB Speed is its integrated pre drying function. When the program starts, the lift table remains open, allowing moisture from colouring liquids, for example, to escape safely.
When a predefined temperature is reached, such as 500 °C, the furnace closes automatically. This allows the drying process to be carried out in a controlled manner before the actual sintering process begins.
