The Katana™ Zirconia Block 12Z is a zirconia CAD/CAM block designed for the fabrication of highly aesthetic, full-contour zirconia restorations. Thanks to its innovative multilayer structure, this zirconia block combines a natural colour gradient with a high mechanical strength of 763 MPa.
The Katana™ Zirconia Block 12Z consists of four zirconia layers with gradually changing shades. This creates a natural transition from cervical to incisal areas during milling, without the need for extensive individual staining of the restoration. This makes it possible to efficiently produce aesthetic restorations in the dental practice.
With a flexural strength of 763 MPa, KATANA™ provides a strong and reliable foundation for a wide range of dental restorations. Thanks to its mechanical properties, restorations can also be designed relatively thin, contributing to a translucent and natural appearance.
Key benefits
The 12Z version has a block height of approximately 15.3 mm before sintering and is designed for restorations with a crown height of up to approximately 12 mm. The block has a width of approximately 19.2 mm and a length of approximately 20.2 mm.
