This significantly reduces the risk of scratches and damage cause by the peeling force when cured layers a seperated from the film. \nBecause the film resin interface remains liquid, each cured layer can be released more easily. This reduces mechanical stress on both the print and the film, resulting in lower peel force per layer.<\/p>\n
\nDue to the reduced peel force, layer changes can occur more quickly. In certain applications, print times can be reduced by up to 50 percent, depending on the resin used.<\/p>\n
\nBecause the liquid interface protects the film the tray has an extended service life. According to Asiga, print volumes of up to 20 liters of resin are achievable. This value is indicative and not guaranteed.<\/p>\n
\nIdeal for applications where a smooth, clear or glossy surface is critical such as transparent parts, splints, night guards or bite splints. The UltraGloss version can also be used to add extra gloss to dental models and prosthetics. This reduces polishing effort and in some cases eliminated the need for polishing altogether.<\/p>\n
